Rules

                                               Please respect our rules.

* RODS.  Maximum of 3 rods per angler, which must not be left unattended.

* LINE & RIGS.  No braided line, leaders or lead core.  Minimum of 15lb nylon is recommended.  Barbed or barbless hooks are allowed.

* UNHOOKING MATS.  Large unhooking mats and weigh slings are provided, free of charge for your use.  Please handle all fish with great care and respect.

* SACKING.  The sacking of fish is strictly prohibited.

* LITTER.  Under no circumstances should litter be left at the lake.  Please take away your litter.

* ALCOHOL. Please drink sensibly.  Any person we consider, to be too intoxicated to fish safely and to handle the fish with care, will be asked to suspend their fishing until we consider them to be in a fit state to continue.

* FIRES. Absolutely no fires.  Barbecues in authorised areas only.

* TOILET & SHOWER. To be left clean after use.

* ACCESS. Only persons named on the booking form are allowed on the lake.

* ARRIVAL / DEPARTURES.  Departing anglers must vacate the lake by 10am on the day of departure.  Arriving anglers will not be permitted onto the lake until 2pm local time.

* BOATS. Bait boats only allowed, no rowing boats or dinghy’s.  Wading or swimming
is also prohibited.

* ROD PODS.  As all our swims are ‘platform swims’, the use of Rod Pods will be necessary.  All landing nets must be dipped in our dip tank for at least 5 minutes prior to commencing to fish.

*PARTICLE BAIT. With regard to the health of our fish, we request that anglers do not use Particle bait of any description.  La Fonte is a boilie only venue.

*  CARP MEDICATION IS MANDATORY.  Can be purchased on site.
